How do we ever get to where we are? Sometimes a plan with a destination-- a map and a defined set of boundaries and conditions. Sometimes a meandering set of actions and consequences guided by the everchanging physical, emotional, or political landscape. Sometimes (always?) both. Either way, here we are.
